Online Therapy
for Anxiety & Stress Management

Do you find yourself wishing for just a moment to breathe in the midst of everything going on?

Maybe you’re in a constant state of overwhelm where even the smallest tasks feel impossible, or perhaps you’ve noticed you simply can’t focus any more (both at work and at home.)

You may be struggling to maintain a healthy work-life balance, where you find yourself thinking about work even as you go to sleep. And when you wake up each day, you feel caught in the same cycle of going to work and collapsing when you get home.

Perhaps you’ve lost interest in hobbies or activities you once loved, finding little joy or satisfaction in what used to make you smile. Or maybe you don’t even have the free time to do the things you actually enjoy.

Whatever you are going through, you're beginning to notice the impact of this in every facet of your life.

  • You’re falling behind on work deadlines and the email box is filling up

  • You’re calling in sick more often because you just feel run down

  • You’re irritated easily, finding yourself picking fights with friends or family

  • You’re checking out each day as soon as you can by scrolling social media

  • Your sleep has become horrible leaving feeling even more tired than when you went to sleep

  • You’re feel like your life is run by the constant hum of energy created by your stress and anxiety

Counseling for Anxiety & Stress Management can help!

It may feel impossible now, but you can break free of the daily overwhelm. You can have work-life balance. You can connect with the people and experiences that matter to you. And I can help you get there.

Counseling helps you do many things:

  • Discover root causes for anxiety and stress

  • Develop coping skills to manage stress and anxiety

  • Learn and develop mindfulness skills to bring more calm into your life

  • Build emotional resilience to help you bounce back from challenges and struggles

  • Foster healthy relationships at work and home.

  • Facilitate personal growth so that you feel even more equipped to handle future stress when it comes your way!

I'll help you through this process tailoring each step to your unique needs and circumstances.

My approach to counseling comes from a place of authenticity and hope: believing that you already have what it takes to succeed, and just need someone to come alongside you to point out what you might be missing.

It’s time to feel whole again.

Frequently asked questions about counseling

  • In the beginning, we will meet every 1-2 weeks. This will depend on your needs and preferences.

  • Counseling is for everyone, but there may be times when online counseling is not the right fit. If you are struggling with thoughts of suicide, feel you need to be in the same room, or have limited access to good wifi or technology, online therapy may not be right for you. If you are unsure, you can always reach out to me for a free consultation and we can decide together if it’s the right fit.

  • All of my services are provided virtually. Currently, I am licensed to help clients in Michigan and Indiana.

  • Online therapy is just like in-person therapy, except you can wear your pjs! I will help you get set up with an online account using a secure, HIPAA compliant client portal. When we meet, we will connect through this portal for video sessions.

  • I currently only offer online sessions, but stay tuned for local opportunities such as nature-based therapy, retreats, and workshops!

  • For the most updated information on investing in therapy, go to my Financial Info page

  • In our first appointment, I gather a lot of information such as reason for counseling, goals, and background information. This is to get a clearer picture of your needs for counseling. While I do gather a lot of information in this first session, I try to make this more of a conversation rather than an interview. My number 1 goal is to help you feel comfortable as we begin to explore your story.

  • This depends on your needs. Many of my career clients see me for 4-6 sessions. Those tackling mental health needs like ADHD and Anxiety may see me longer, but we are always focusing on your needs. When we talk through your free consultation, I may be able to give you a better picture of how many sessions you may need to meet your goals.

  • No. Unfortunately, I do not accept insurance at this time.

Right to Receive a Good Faith Estimate
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining how much your mental healthcare will cost. Under the law, healthcare providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

  • You have the right to receive a Good Faith estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescriptions drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.

  • Make sure your healthcare provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical services or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.

  • If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
Make sure to save a copy or a picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 1-800-985-3059.
